A 5.4-mile stretch of gravel National Forest road in Tuolumne County, CA. The road is open seasonally, April 15 to December 15.

Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 21-day limit in any 365 days. Camp at least 100 ft from water. Open seasonally, April 16 to December 14.

All 5.4 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 0.8 miles of dirt. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~100 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 8 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.

Sawmill Mountain stands 957 ft above the site, 1.4 miles southeast. Middle Tuolumne River runs 0.6 mi off. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Pine Mountain Lake, is 13 mi off.
