A 17.8-mile stretch of paved National Forest road in Tuolumne County, CA. The road is open seasonally, April 15 to December 15.

Stanislaus National Forest, Groveland Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 21-day limit in any 365 days. Camp at least 100 ft from water. Open seasonally, April 16 to December 14.

9.2 of the 17.8 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly paved, with 7.5 miles of dirt. Climbs 2,000 ft over 17.8 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 16%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~150 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 22 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Water crossings 1.3 and 9.7 miles in. A gate 10 miles in.
