Set at 6,500 feet in the Sierra Nevada, Upper Stony Creek Campground offers 17 reservable campsites positioned along the banks of Stony Creek below Shell Mountain. Located on Generals Highway between Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, the facility serves as a base for exploring nearby giant sequoia groves, Jennie Lakes Wilderness, and Hume Lake. On-site amenities include vault toilets, picnic areas, and drinking water. Visitors have immediate access to the Stony Creek Trailhead, creek fishing, and regional mountain biking and off-road trails.
