Quaking Aspen Campground sits at 7,000 feet elevation in Giant Sequoia National Monument, surrounded by sequoia groves like McIntyre and Freeman Creek. The layout includes 30 standard sites, four tent-only sites, two cabin sites, and three small group sites, with some overlooking an open meadow. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic areas, and an amphitheater. Due to tight turnaround spaces, RVs are limited to 26 feet. Nearby trails lead through the unlogged 1,425-acre Freeman Creek Grove, and the Summit Trailhead sits 10 miles north.
