Potwisha Campground is set along the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Sequoia National Park. The site features oak trees and chaparral terrain, offering year-round camping for tents, RVs, and trailers. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and food storage locker. On-site facilities feature flush toilets, drinking water, an amphitheater, and a dump station across the highway. The Marble Falls Trailhead starts next to the grounds, and river access sits across the road.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 10 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.
Switchback Peak stands 2,873 ft above the site, 1.6 miles north. Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 40-site campground. A canal runs 0.1 mi off. Most of them shaded. The nearest town, Three Rivers, is 7.6 mi off.
