Kennedy Meadows Campground in Inyo National Forest provides 37 campsites at 6,100 feet elevation near the Pacific Crest Trail and South Fork of the Kern River. Some sites shaded by juniper and pinion. Vault toilets and picnic tables available; no potable water or trash service. No camping fee; first-come, first-served. RVs to 30 feet. 14-day maximum stay. Open year-round, though snow often present November through March.
