Eshom Campground is set at 4,800 feet in the Sierra Nevada foothills within Giant Sequoia National Monument. The facility features 23 multi-family sites split into an east section with informal aprons and stone fire rings, and a west section with two loops, potable water spigots, and sites suited for tents and slide-in campers. Eshom Creek runs adjacent to the property, with a foot trail following the water. The surrounding coniferous forest of ponderosa pine, cedar, and giant sequoias connects to trails leading into the Redwood Mountain and Whitaker forest groves, an hour from Kings Canyon.
