Camp Three Campground sits amidst oak and locust trees along the Upper Kern River at an elevation of 2,800 feet in Sequoia National Forest. The facility includes 52 paved sites and a 30-person group camp, offering campfire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water. People gather here for kayaking, whitewater rafting, fishing, and hiking along the steep canyon walls. The Cannell Meadow National Recreation Trailhead is located just north of Kernville, and day-trip destinations include the Trail of a Hundred Giants and various giant sequoia groves.
