Setting
Minersville Campground sits at 2,400 feet on the Stuart Fork Arm of Trinity Lake in Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area, 17 miles north of Weaverville. Mixed conifer and deciduous trees surround the site, which offers views of the Trinity Alps. Campers have immediate access to the adjacent Minersville Boat Ramp for water sports and fly fishing. The terrain features a developed loop with paved parking aprons alongside primitive walk-in sites. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, vault and flush toilets, and bear-proof containers.
Getting there: From Weaverville: take Highway 3 north for 15 miles. Turn right on Minersville/Bushtail Road for 1 mile.
