East Weaver Campground offers nine rustic, wooded sites along the banks of East Weaver Creek. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and stove, set along a paved main road with dirt parking spurs. On-site facilities are limited to a vault toilet, with no drinking water or trash service listed. The location sits 1.5 miles from Weaverville and serves as an entry point for hikers, featuring trailheads within a short walk that lead straight into the Trinity Alps Wilderness.
Getting there: From Weaverville, take Hwy 3 north for 2 miles. Turn left on Road 228. Campground is 1.5 miles on the left.
