Campground details
Setting
Situated right on the shoreline of 5-mile-long Lewiston Lake, this small campground features five paved sites tucked into a mixed conifer and hardwood forest. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring, offering direct views of the water at an elevation of 1,902 feet. The site is tailored for anglers and hand-paddlers launching kayaks or float tubes. A separate day-use area provides access to the Baker Gulch Trail. The historic town of Lewiston sits three miles away, while full boat ramps are located within nine miles.
Getting there: From Weaverville, take Hwy 3 north for 7 miles. Turn right on Rush Creek Road for 9 miles. Turn left on Trinity Dam Blvd for 2.5 miles. Then right on Cooper Gulch exit.
