Whitlock Campground is a small, quiet forest camp amidst large oaks and ponderosa pines in Mendocino National Forest, located 16 miles west of Paskenta. Amenities include vault toilets and picnic tables; potable water is not available. No camping fees are required. Quiet hours run 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Note that this area has burned in a recent fire and may contain downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes, and unstable terrain.

All 3.3 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (3.3 miles). Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
