Sycamore Grove Campground is situated along the Sacramento River within the 488-acre Red Bluff Recreation Area, a standalone section of Mendocino National Forest. The site features grassy fields shaded by oak and sycamore trees. Over two dozen tent and RV campsites are available, each equipped with tables and fire rings with grills, alongside potable water. A four-mile paved trail loops through grasslands and oak woodlands, offering views of Mount Lassen, Mount Shasta, and the Yolla Bolly Mountains. Water sports, swimming, and fishing for Chinook salmon and trout are popular on the river.
