Climbs 12,200 ft over 81.7 miles through 109 switchbacks, with sustained grades near 14% and pitches to 42%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~170 ft on the downhill side. Few of the stretches measured have level ground to pull onto. Dead-end road with no mapped turnaround, so expect to back out or unhitch. A gate 74.7 miles in.
