Willow Creek Environmental Camp Area in CA -- Campground & RV Camping

Primitive environmental camping along the Russian River within Sonoma Coast State Park, the only park campground near the river. Eleven first-come/first-served walk-in campsites within 1/4 mile of parking, shaded by willows with fire rings and picnic tables; pit toilets available but no running water. Large beach access for swimming and fishing attracts blue herons, egrets, osprey, and occasionally river otters. Self-register at site; no dogs allowed to protect wildlife.
