Setting
Liberty Glen Campground sits on a ridge in the coastal foothills of Sonoma County, overlooking the Warm Springs Arm of Lake Sonoma. It features single, double, cabin, and accessible group sites alongside a playground, flush toilets, showers, and drinking water. Trails like the Serpentine, Rancheria, and Cove routes originate within the campground for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. A strenuous one-mile trail leads down to the lake shore, while an archery range, air rifle range, disc golf course, dog park, and outdoor gym are located within the surrounding recreation area.
Getting there: Take Highway 101 to the town of Healdsburg and exit on Dry Creek Road. Travel west another 11 miles to the park boundary. Continue west another 4 miles, following the park road signs to reach the Liberty Glen Campground at the top of the ridge line.
