Setting
Tree of Heaven Campground sits at 2,100 feet elevation on the banks of the Klamath Wild and Scenic River within Klamath National Forest. The facility contains 21 campsites equipped with drinking water and vault toilets, alongside a paved boat ramp, a quarter-mile interpretive walking trail, and a day-use area with a horseshoe pit and volleyball net. Whitewater rafters, kayakers, and anglers use the campground for direct access to Class II-III runs on the river, while others use the site for birdwatching along the water.
Getting there: Take I-5 to exit 786 for Highway 96 (Klamath River Highway). Follow Highway 96 for 4 miles until you see the sign for Tree of Heaven Campground. Turn left into the campground on road 46N90.
