Setting
Dillon Creek Campground sits at an elevation of 800 feet along Dillon Creek in a mixed hardwood and conifer forest. Located next to the Klamath River in northern California, the facility contains 21 single-family campsites alongside paved internal roads. Each site includes a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill. Vault toilets are located on site. Visitors use the location for swimming, hunting, and river fishing for salmon and steelhead.
Getting there: From State Route 299 in Willow Creek, take State Route 96 north for 60.2 miles. The campground will be on the left side. From Interstate 5 in northern California, take State Route 96 southwest, past Happy Camp, for 85.7 miles. The campground will be on the right side.
