Setting
Pass Creek Campground lies on the northeastern shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir, nestled in a dense pine and fir forest with views of the Sierra Crest and English Mountain. The facility offers single-family campsites equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings, supported by drinking water and both flush and vault toilets. An on-site boat ramp provides direct access to the water for canoeing, powerboating, and trout fishing, with a designated swim beach located nearby. The Pacific Crest Trail runs along the eastern side of the reservoir.
Getting there: Take Interstate 80 to the Truckee/Highway 89 exit. Follow Highway 89 north for 17 miles to the Jackson Meadows turnoff. Travel west on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. Turn at the Pass Creek Campground sign.
