Whiskey Creek Group Picnic Area is a day-use facility located on the northern shore of Whiskeytown Lake in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, 13 miles west of Redding, California. The site sits on a protected cove and consists of one large dirt site and two small dirt sites designed for group gatherings. Amenities include two vault toilets, large charcoal barbecue grills, and multiple picnic and serving tables. There are no electric or water hookups. Visitors use the cove for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing, with a public boat launch ramp located 1.6 miles away.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
