Setting
Set in a ponderosa pine forest at 5,890 feet, these 20 rustic cabins sit adjacent to Manzanita Lake inside Lassen Volcanic National Park. Cabins range from one-room units to an eight-person bunkhouse, each furnished with firm mattresses, a picnic table, a fire ring, and a bear-proof food locker. Guests must bring their own bedding and linens. Restrooms, hot showers, coin laundry, and a camper store selling supplies, food, and fuel are a short walk away. The site overlooks 10,457-foot Lassen Peak and sits steps from non-motorized boating, fly fishing, and park hiking trails.
