Lakeshore East Campground sits along the Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake, shaded by oak and pine with an undergrowth of grass and raspberry bushes. The facility includes standard single and double sites as well as two rental yurts, with direct water access from select locations. Sites accommodate tents and trailers with paved parking spurs, picnic tables, and raised fire rings, but no trailer hookups or dump stations are available. On-site facilities feature accessible flush toilets and drinking water. The Antlers and Sugar Loaf boat ramps are within two miles.

Getting there: From Redding, California, remain on I-5 north to the town of Lakehead (Approx. 20 minutes north of Redding). Take the Antlers Road/Lakeshore Drive exit. Go west under I-5 overpass, then left on Lakeshore drive approximately 2.5 miles to the campground entrance.
