Ellery Creek in CA -- Campground & RV Camping

Ellery Creek Campground sits terraced above the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake, shaded by deciduous trees with water views from most lower and upper sites. Each site accommodates tents or small trailers and features a tent pad, paved parking spur, picnic table, fire ring with grill, and bear-proof food locker. On-site facilities include vault toilets and drinking water spigots, though no electrical hookups or showers are present. Depending on water levels, campers can moor boats on the shore directly within view of the camp, with a public boat launch 4 miles away at Hirz Bay.

Getting there: From Redding, California: Take I-5 to Gilman Road. From the north take the Salt Creek exit to Gilman Road. Go east for 16 miles to the campground entrance (located on the right hand side of the road between Moore Creek and Pine Point Campgrounds). *The Map Driving Route link gives directions to mail office, not the campground.
