Alder Trail Camp is a backcountry site in the Santa Cruz Mountains connected to the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail system. Located within Castle Rock State Park's extensive trail network, the site sits among old-growth coast redwood and Douglas fir forest with steep canyon terrain. The camp has no piped water; bring your supply or filter backcountry sources. Ground fires prohibited; backpack stoves only. Reservations required 60 days in advance. Maximum 6 people per site.
