Setting
Turkey Flat Campground is an off-road staging and camping area set among oak, conifer, and chaparral terrain with rocky, hard-packed ground. The facility features an open campsite layout equipped with picnic tables, two vault toilets, a gear staging area, and a dedicated kids' riding track. There is no potable water or dump station on site. Campers have direct access to 45 miles of marked, rated trails for ATVs, quads, dual sports, and single-track motorcycles, with surrounding views stretching toward Pozo Summit and Black Mountain.
Getting there: From Santa Margarita, CA, head northeast on H St toward Margarita Ave. Turn right onto CA-58 E. Turn left to stay on CA-58 E. Turn right onto Parkhill Rd for 16.miles. Turn left onto Black Mountain Rd/Forest Rte 29S02 Destination will be on the left
