Each site has a picnic table and fire ring; restrooms and hot shower facilities available. A nearby campfire center hosts ranger-led programs in summer. The grounds are famous for the Monarch Butterfly Grove (November through February), where thousands of monarchs cluster in eucalyptus trees adjacent to the campground.
