A 258-acre park protecting riparian oak woodland along the Stanislaus River in San Joaquin County's Central Valley. The park features coast redwoods, Douglas fir, and madrone trees with trails through forest ecosystem. Established 1958, named after original landowner Thomas Caswell. Provides critical habitat for the endangered riparian brush rabbit. River access and shaded forest in an agricultural valley. Picnicking and river recreation available.
