Sixty-four campsites nestled beneath old-growth valley oaks along the Stanislaus River in central San Joaquin County. The park preserves rare riparian oak woodland habitat, once widespread across California's Central Valley. Each paved site includes fire ring, picnic table, and 10x10 tent pad. Facilities: restrooms with hot showers, drinking water, grills, ADA-accessible sites. Stanislaus River provides swimming holes, fishing for bass and catfish, and boating. Trail system loops through the riparian ecosystem for hiking and birdwatching (red-shouldered and red-tailed hawks common). Accommodates RVs to 24 feet, trailers to 21 feet.
