Silver Strand State Beach Campground occupies a sand-spit between Coronado and Imperial Beach in San Diego Bay, offering dual water access to the Pacific Ocean and warmer, calmer bay waters. The 129-site campground is exclusively for self-contained RVs with full hookups including 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer. Highway 75 divides the park, which spans 2.5 miles of ocean beach and 0.5 mile of bay frontage. Flush toilets, cold showers, and drinking water are provided. The site features beaches for swimming, areas for fishing and boating, and volleyball courts on the bay side.
