Corral Canyon Campground sits in an oak grove within the Corral Canyon OHV Area, surrounded by chaparral and desert landscape. It features 20 campsites designed for vehicles towing trailers up to 27 feet. The campground directly links to a network of OHV trails, including a 1.2-mile trail connecting to the broader trail system. Off-highway vehicle use requires a Green Sticker. There is no drinking water available onsite or in the immediate Corral Canyon and Bear Valley area.

3 of the 8.5 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly paved, with 2.7 miles of dirt. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Los Pinos Mountain stands 1,381 ft above the site, 1.6 miles north. Private here -- the nearest through road is 2.4 miles off. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Campo, is 7.6 mi off.

September normals 5586°F, 0.4″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
