Boulder Oaks Campground sits at 3,300 feet among oak and manzanita trees in the Cleveland National Forest, bordered by mountain slopes covered in sagebrush. The facility is split into two loops, offering dedicated family campsites in one and equestrian sites equipped with corrals in the other, with each loop served by a vault toilet. Campers have direct access to a segment of the Pacific Crest Trail for day hiking and horseback riding, while all forest roads and non-nature trails permit equestrian use.
