CA State Parks allows overnight stays only at the designated sites here.
Perched on dramatic sandstone bluffs three miles south of San Clemente, Bluffs Campground offers 157 sites with panoramic ocean views and direct access to 3.5 miles of undeveloped beach via six rugged trails. Campsites feature fire pits and picnic tables; facilities include chemical toilets, cold outdoor showers, and an RV dump station (no hookups). The site overlies Panhe, an ancient sacred Acjachemen village. Below the bluffs, explore tide pools and watch for whales, dolphins, and sea lions.
