Setting
Wild Horse Equestrian Campground sits at 7,000 feet in the pine forests of the San Bernardino Mountains, catering exclusively to campers with horses. The layout includes eight single sites and three double sites for tents and RVs, equipped with tables and campfire rings. Facilities feature flush toilets, showers, drinking water, more than two dozen single-horse corrals, a horse watering station, a staging area, and hitching racks. Riders have direct access to backcountry trailheads leading to the San Gorgonio Wilderness, the Santa Ana River Trail, and nearby mountain streams.
Getting there: From I-10 in Redlands, turn onto State Highway 38 and continue north for approximately 31 miles, to Forest Route 1N02. Turn right and continue less than a mile to the campground.
