Tent Peg Group Campground is a semi-primitive mountain site shaded by pine, oak, and cedar trees between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. Accessed via a dirt road, the single gravel-surface group site holds up to 40 people and eight vehicles. Amenities include multiple picnic tables, a campfire circle, grills, and vault toilets. There is no drinking water on site. The campground acts as a hub for off-road vehicle routes like Redonda Ridge and Holcomb Valley Road, with Green Valley Lake six miles away.

Getting there: Take Highway 38 through Running Springs and Arrowbear to Green Valley Road. Stay on the road and continue approximately 2 miles, past Crab Flats Campground.
