Oso Group Campground sits at an elevation of 6,400 feet in the pine forests of the San Bernardino Mountains' Barton Flats region. The facility consists of a single dirt-and-gravel group area that accommodates up to 100 people and 20 vehicles, equipped with multiple picnic tables, a campfire circle, grills, flush toilets, and drinking water, but no utility hookups. The property connects directly to the Santa Ana River Trail and the Rio Monte Trail overlooking the river gorge. Non-motorized boating and trout fishing are available nearby at Jenks Lake and along the Santa Ana River.

Getting there: Take I-10 East to Redlands. Take the University Street exit, EXIT 80. Turn left (northbound) on University Street. Turn right onto E. Lugonia Avenue/SR-38. Continue on State Highway 38 for approximately 22 miles to the campground entrance.
