Hole-in-the-Wall Campground sits at 4,400 feet in elevation within Mojave National Preserve, surrounded by sculptured volcanic rock walls, Joshua tree forests, and desert terrain. The campground consists of 38 individual sites, each equipped with a parking area, tent space, picnic table, and fire ring. Shared amenities include vault toilets, water spigots, and an RV dump station. The site serves as a base for exploring nearby desert trails, including the 1.5-mile Rings Loop through Banshee Canyon, the Barber Peak trail, Kelso Dunes, and the volcanic formations of the preserve.
