Heart Bar Campground sits at 6,880 feet in a pine forest within the San Bernardino Mountains, roughly 20 miles from Big Bear Lake. The campground offers single, double, and accessible campsites suitable for tents and RVs, each equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are available on site, and a dump station is nearby. The facility serves as a base for exploring backcountry routes, including the Santa Ana River Trail and Wildhorse Creek Trail, which offer miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

Getting there: From I-10 in San Bernardino, take the Alabama exit in the city of Redlands to Lugonia Avenue (State Highway 38). Travel northeast on Highway 38 for approximately 30 mile,s to Forest Route IN02. Continue less than a mile to the campground.
