Setting
Green Valley Campground sits at 7,200 feet elevation in the San Bernardino National Forest, centered between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake near Arrowbear. Overlooking a seasonal mountain creek, the campground is set among pine, fir, and cedar trees alongside open grassy meadows. The site provides single-family tent and RV campsites equipped with picnic tables and campfire grills, supported by flush toilets and drinking water. Visitors come to explore nearby mountain hiking trails and fish, boat, and swim at Green Valley Lake, located one mile away.
Getting there: From Running Springs, travel east on Highway 18 about 3 miles to Green Valley Lake Road. Turn left and continue about 6 miles to the campground.
