Setting
Dogwood Campground sits 20 miles northeast of San Bernardino in a forest of cedar, oak, pine, and fir near Lake Arrowhead. Designed primarily for tent campers with some electric RV sites, the property features paved aprons, picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, drinking water, accessible flush toilets, and showers. On-site attractions include an outdoor amphitheater for weekend ranger programs and two short hiking routes, the Dogwood Trail and Enchanted Loop Trail. Lake Gregory lies 15 minutes away for boating and fishing, while shops and dining in Lake Arrowhead sit five minutes off-site.
Getting there: From San Bernardino, travel north on Hwy 18 toward Lake Arrowhead. Just before Rim of the World High School, turn left (north) onto Daley Canyon Access Road (3 miles west of Arrowhead Ranger Station). Turn right into the campground entrance. This road will bring you straight into the campground.
