Set along the shoreline of the Lower Colorado River, Crossroads Campground features dry campsites equipped with picnic tables and grills, plus a single vault toilet. The landscape consists of riverfront sand dunes and steep, rocky terrain. On-site activities focus on water access for swimming, fishing, canoeing, and boating, alongside nearby off-road vehicle routes at the Copper Basin Dunes and Crossroads OHV areas. The site is staffed by a host, and the Rock House Visitor Center with its free year-round boat launch sits less than a mile away along the Parker Dam Road Scenic Backcountry Byway.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Overhead clearance here is posted at 15 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 26-site campground. The Moovalya Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. 19 sit on the water. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. Monument Peak stands 1,937 ft above the site, 5.4 miles northwest. The nearest town, Cienega Springs, is 0.8 mi off.

September normals 72102°F, 0.5″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
