Black Canyon Equestrian and Group Campground offers two isolated, high-capacity group sites within Mojave National Preserve. Set in a vast desert landscape featuring mountain ranges, dry riverbeds, mesas, and Joshua tree forests, the campground is equipped with picnic tables, water spigots, vault toilets, fire rings, and large parking areas. Visitors have direct access to expansive desert hiking, birding at Zzyzx, and driving routes across the preserve. Nearby points of interest include Barber Peak, the 1.5-mile Rings Loop trail through Banshee Canyon, Kelso Dunes, and a local lava tube.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
