Valley View Campground sits at Fremont Peak State Park in the Gabilan Range, offering 25 primitive, oak-shaded sites at 3,169 feet elevation. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring; vault toilets are on-site with no water or hookups. Views extend from Monterey Bay to the Santa Lucia Mountains. The park operates a 30-inch observatory for astronomy programs and offers multiple hiking and biking trails. RVs over 25 feet are not recommended.
