Two developed campgrounds (Laguna Mountain and Upper Sweetwater) on BLM land southeast of Hollister. Each site has level RV pads, fire rings, shade structures, picnic benches, and vault toilets. No potable water, electricity, or trash collection. Free camping limited to 14 days in any 3-month period. Campers must pack out garbage and bring a shovel. Dispersed camping also permitted on undeveloped lands within the Hollister Resource Area.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
