Cottonwood Campground is part of Brannan Island State Recreation Area within the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. This 50-site loop (part of the park's 102 total family sites) offers primitive camping with fire rings and tables on grassy areas bordering Three Mile Slough. Amenities include restrooms with showers. The Delta setting provides excellent boating, fishing for bass and sturgeon, and swimming access. Winter and spring offer the most peaceful experience.
