Little Round Valley is a primitive wilderness campground in Mount San Jacinto State Wilderness with six tent sites at 9,700 feet elevation. Accessible only by hiking from Idyllwild-area trailheads, the site offers vault toilets but no potable water or other developed facilities. The high-elevation setting near San Jacinto Peak provides a remote backcountry experience for wilderness hikers. Multiple trail routes from Idyllwild converge at this wilderness hub. A wilderness camping permit is required.
