Dripping Springs Campground in CA -- Campground & RV Camping in California

Dripping Springs Campground is located adjacent to the Agua Tibia Wilderness in Southern California. The surrounding terrain rises from chaparral-covered hills and riparian habitats up to coniferous forests along the higher ridgelines. On-site facilities are basic, consisting of vault toilets and potable drinking water spigots without shower facilities. The campground serves as a primary access point for trail running, backpacking, and hiking, including the 20-mile loop trail into the neighboring wilderness area.

All 1.4 miles in are fully maintained. Paved the whole way in (1.4 miles). Overhead clearance here is posted at 15 ft -- the tightest site sets the limit.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 33-site campground. Wild Horse Peak stands 1,660 ft above the site, 1.7 miles southeast. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Most of them shaded. Kolb Creek runs 1.1 mi off. The nearest town, Temecula, is 9.5 mi off.
