Setting
Wyandotte Campground sits at 5,100 feet in a dense mixed-conifer forest within five miles of La Porte, California. The facility provides seasonal forest camping in close proximity to the 1,600-acre Little Grass Valley Reservoir, part of the South Fork Feather River network. Recreation on and around the nearby water includes powerboating, flatwater paddling, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, and exploring historic regional mining sites.
Getting there: Take the La Porte-Quincy Rd. from Brownsville or Quincy-Hwy 70 to the town of La Porte, CA. Travel 3 miles NE of town to the So Fork Rd. or Little Grass Valley Rd.
