Whitehorse Campground sits at 5,500 feet elevation in a fir and pine forest along a small creek that feeds into Bucks Lake. The site features concrete picnic tables, bear-proof food storage lockers, vault toilets, trash service, and drinking water. Walking trails extend directly from the campground to the lake, as well as into the Bucks Lake Wilderness and the Pacific Crest Trail. Nearby amenities within a short drive include marinas, boat docks, and local lodges with dining and supplies.
