Setting
Sundew Campground is situated at 5,500 feet elevation on the western shore of Bucks Lake in the Plumas National Forest. Surrounded by a shaded canopy of fir and pine trees, the campground provides direct access to water recreation. Shady Point nearby features a boat ramp, dock, day-use picnic area, and public showers. Local hiking access includes the Pacific Crest Trail and the Bucks Creek Loop Trail, located a short drive away at Bucks Summit and Mill Creek.
