Setting
Located eight miles from Quincy at 3,900 feet elevation, Snake Lake Campground sits in a pine and fir forest on the edge of lily-pad-filled Snake Lake. Built as a multi-use trail hub, it offers staging areas and direct forest road access for mountain biking, equestrian, and OHV use. Equestrian facilities include a small corral and an ADA mounting ramp. Due to heavy plant growth, the lake is not suitable for swimming.

- Spanish Peak stands 3,001 ft above the map pin, 6.5 miles southwest.
